Project 180 is an employment and training program that seeks to create meaningful opportunities and develop transferrable skills for people experiencing disadvantage and hardship.
With a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, Project 180 combines on-the-job training, full-time employment, business development and mentoring. The 9 month program develops the capacity of participants to tell their own stories and to build sustainable careers in the creative industries.
To date, Hope Empowered has run 5 intakes of Project 180, involving 60 young people.
