Based in Toowoomba, Life provides practical medium to long-term residential support for young women who are pregnant or have just had a baby and want to keep and parent their child.
With a focus on breaking cycles and reducing the risk of generational disadvantage, Life addresses identified needs and caters for individuals who, for various reasons, are unable to live at home or lack the required social and community support.
Life’s services aim to empower young women, facilitating the transition to an independent life of healthy choices, behaviours and positive parenting.
Life primarily caters for young women 14 to 16 years of age.
Over the past eight years, Life has provided transitionary housing and support to more than 60 women and their infants.
